Doris and John were good friends of my Mum and Dad, Sarah and John Horrocks, and I remember them coming to visit us a couple of times when I was a child. Doris' John and my Dad had met whilst in the army and had stayed friends ever since. They even both passed away in the same year. I carried on writing to Doris when my Dad passed away, she always had something amusing to say, especially in the last few years like "I'm ok, just bits dropping off".  They will all be together now in their Heavenly home with their Heavenly Father. See you again someday Doris, in the sweet by and by.
